Collective Memory is a metaphoric installation inspired by Homer's Odyssey. The work is the best result of Luisa Adelfio's recurring interest in symbols, archetypes, architecture and literature as both the reflection of individual memories and the repository for the collective human experience.  Adelfio works in a variety of media including stone, bronze, paper and glass.  After studying sculpture at Wellesley College, she earned a degree from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Italy. She is represented by Galeria Otros 360 Grados Bogota' and exhibits internationally in New York City, Colombia, Washington DC and Italy.
