Luisa Adelfio has been a working artist since 1984. Primarily a sculptor, she works in a variety of materials including stone, bronze, paper, and glass. Consistent themes in her work are archetypes and symbols, cultural memory, the intersection of science and spiritual practices, and the transcendence of the material world to the spiritual world. Luisa has four daughters and lives with her husband, Erik H. Neil.
